This Respiratory Therapist position is located in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role involves providing respiratory care to patients across various units within the hospital, requiring responsiveness to codes and rapid response situations. The schedule includes every other weekend and requires flexibility to float between units.

Responsibilities:
- Providing respiratory care to patients across multiple units (Floor care, ER).
- Responding to codes and rapid responses.
- Patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Medication administration (as applicable to Respiratory Therapists).
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Charting patient information (using Epic).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in Washington state.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with various respiratory care equipment and procedures.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Experience with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
Special Considerations:
- Floating between units is required.
- Weekend work is required (every other weekend).
- Block scheduling is utilized.
- No on-call requirements.
- The hospital is a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
