Job#: 2072835 Job Description: TS/SCI Clearance Required JOB SUMMARY: The On-Prem System Administrator- ServiceNow at Apex Systems will collaborate with the internal team to maintain and optimize our customers software systems. In this role, the System Administrator will serve as a resource for the Platform Architect and the greater team, assisting with internal projects by performing administrative tasks, generating reports, creating documentation, providing training, and offering support as needed. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, grow, and expand their expertise within the ServiceNow platform.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Perform administration support on internal systems
- Assist with system enhancements
- Assist the Platform Architect with day-to-day tasks and projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and assignments on time
- Participate in team meetings by contributing ideas and insights
- Assist with documentation and file organization
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: - Obtain ServiceNow certifications as recommended
- Participate in training, research, and skill-building activities to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge relevant to the role and the ServiceNow platform.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Basic understanding of the ServiceNow platform with a strong interest in learning and growing knowledge within the system
- General understanding of software systems and IT concepts
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS: - Self-motivated, disciplined professional able to function as a true business leader with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks
- Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving
- Excellent proficiency with English language: written, reporting, verbal/oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies
- Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all meetings and interactions
- Excellent communications skills required – verbally with customers and all levels of the business, as well as written with technical assessments and project-related reports
