Payroll Clerk Transdevin Merced, CA, is hiring a Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: + Competitive compensation package of minimum $22.18/Hr. - Maximum $26.00/Hr. Benefits include: + Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks + Sick days: 5 days + Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating + Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary long-term disability. Key Responsibilities: + Process new employee files & records and submit them to the General Manager for approval; submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office. + Calculate & input driver & staff payroll into system for processing. + Track attendance for part-time employees. + Responsible for fare reconciliation & deposits. + Assist General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce and eliminate unnecessary and/or additional punch hours. + Other duties as required. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. + Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements: + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
