**Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems, mechanical equipment, and general maintenance practices. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) + Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems + Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes + Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations + Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replacements as needed + Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when necessary + Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred + Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field + Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures + Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks + Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments **Preferred Certifications:** + HVAC Certification + Electrical or Plumbing License + OSHA Safety Training **Work Environment:** + Full-time position + May require evening or weekend shifts depending on facility needs + Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
